Aquolin® 161 is a water-dispersible isocyanate hardener based on hexamethylene diisocyanate. With waterborne polyurethane, polyacrylate, etc., used in the field of adhesive, improve hydrolysis resistance, heat resistance and other properties. It can also be used in the field of water-based coatings. The mixture with Aquolin® 161 must be used during the activation period. Aquolin® 161 can be diluted with solvents, such as propylene glycol methyl ether acetate (PMA), propylene glycol diacetate (PGDA), butyl acetate, etc. It is recommended to dilute Aquolin® 161 with ammonia ester solvent (water content < 0.05%) and carry out specific experiments before use.
