SILRESR BS168 improves the water and scrub resistance of waterborne coatings. Compared to sodium hydroxide and ammonia. SILRES R BS168 has better water resistance and can significantly improve the scrub resistance of coatings, even better than coatings using organic amine pH adjusters. (See Figure 1. Figure 2) This is because SILRESRBS168 can form a hydrophobic polymer 3-D network by self-crosslinking, which improves the water resistance and scrub resistance of water-based coatings.
